Hi all,

I feel like it is time to upgrade my trusty HD 6770s. I am currently running two XFX HD 6770s in crossfire (HD-677X-ZNFC) and it seems like it can't handle my everyday tasks well any more. I usually have a 27in and a 32in monitor hooked up and play hours of csgo and am noticing that my frames are dropping and var spikes. Compared to a more recent GPU like the 750ti, I can see and fell the difference. My question is, what is the Nvidia equivalent to the 6770 and the R-Series equivalent today (Late 2015/2016)? Both my XFX cards are under the Lifetime warranty policy and I would like to know what I might get if I turn in my cards to XFX.
Also, I would like to know whats everyone's thought on the resale price for the two cards. I currently have them up on eBay for ~$90 and getting a few offers ranging from $45-$70

Okay, thanks for the information.

Since you're the original owner of the cards, but one is the product of an RMA, only one card has a transferable warranty. I would sell them locally, something like Craigslist. Sell them as a pair and list that only one has a transferable warranty. I figure you can get about $200-300 for the two cards.
Well, a good card for CS:GO and other casual games would likely be the RX 470. It's much cheaper than the RX 480 because it has less Stream Processors. However, thanks to the RX series's good optimization, it still competes with the RX 480 in many games.

Actually, those cards have transferable warranties. Are you the original owner of those cards? If you are the original owner, how long have you had them?

1 GB Cards are now a thing of the past it seems
So, to answer your question, recent cards with similar specs are the lowest end of the spectrum ; AMD Radeon RX 460 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
These cards also feature higher memory clocks and different port types. Check to make sure that if you're going single card, your monitors will be working with one card, and that they have the right ports.

Thanks for the quick reply, I am the original owner of both the cards. I started with a single 5770 (Also XFX) and when it shorted out on me, XFX sent me a 6770 as a replacement back in 2013. During the same year, i purchased my second 6770 from Amazon and ever since, I left them in a crossfire config paired with a small i3 2100.

I would also like to note, this is my backup desktop. For my main rig, I have an r9 380 4gb paired with a 3770k. I am looking to replace the 6770s because hauling desktops back and fourth from home to college is very tiresome and not safe
