Hey guys, this will be my first time ever building a PC.

It will be a gaming PC and this is mostly a rough draft (http://pcpartpicker.com/list/TCGmCy)

My budget is around $2500 maybe more if i can get good deals.

As you can see, it does not have a PSU, im looking for alot of help with that.

Need help with the Optical Drives as well, so many options, i just need something that can install games via disk, not really needing a burner and stuff.

The HDD is another thing too, i'm not sure on it, it had good reviews, help with HDD and SSD please!

Another thing i'm wondering about is if the Nocuta ND-15 is worth it, or if i should get a smaller CPU cooler, and a smaller case.

If i do stick with the current setup (+ a PSU) will it all fit? im scared of the Nocuta overlapping my ram!

Also, monitor recommendations please!

Any tips, or suggestions to the build will be welcome! Thanks!

Here you go. You were wasting several hundred dollars. I added in a psu and ssd and it still comes out $300-400 cheaper.

Thank you so much! What about the thermal paste? Is the default one sufficient for slight overclocking? I'm not trying to push 4.7Ghz or anything, maybe 4.2-4.3 on the i7.

The Keyboard and Mouse I already own, forgot to mention that :p

RAM, Whats the difference between the Kingston Fury and the G.SKill Ripjaws? besides price.

Can you recommend any monitors?

Thank you!

The cooler will come with it's own thermal paste, but you can buy more if you like. It doesn't hurt to have some extra laying around.

The RAM I chose is faster and cheaper.

What kind of monitor are you looking for? The GTX1080 is overkill for 1080p. Probably even for an ultra wide 1080p monitor.
