Hi,
Here's my pcpartpicker list: AMD FX-8350 multimedia creation-station
The parts that have manual pricing are from Ebay, and the parts from Amazon do not have shipping fees because I have Prime.
There were some other options when it came to certain parts, so here's a list of alternative parts: Alternative parts for Multimedia station
I want this PC to be upgradeable in the future, and for moderate to heavy OC'ing to be an option. Any other advice regarding compatibility/performance issues would be awesome, cause I want to make sure of everything before I start building. Thanks!

Solution
Honestly, starting a new build with an old FX8350 is a bad idea. Especially if you want to have an easily upgradeable system. If not, your first upgrade would be to get a new cpu, motherboard, and RAM, and that's just silly.

Start your build off with a Skylake 6th gen i5 and DDR4 RAM. It doesn't HAVE to be the 6600k. Even the lowest 2.7ghz 6400 would be a huge upgrade over the old 8 core AMD.

The rest is ok. $139 is a decent price for a 280x.

Here's what you can do with that budget.
I suggest getting a CPU cooler for a little more to keep the i7's temps low under high load, but i'll let you decide whether you're willing to spend that little bit more.

Not sure what you mean by a better cooler, isn't the Noctua NH D14 the best thing you can get apart from a custom water rig?

He was talking about stock Intel cooler which comes with non K CPUs

OK, I got the i5-6600k and DDR4 RAM, here's the new rig: Multimedia creation station
So this build will work well for graphics design/video editing?
And the Noctua NH D14 is the best air fan right? Can I easily overclock the i5 with it?
