So I'm looking around for faster RAM and aisde from annoyances where everyone raises their prices by 20 dollars in the past 20 hours I've found plenty. My question is the FX 8350 says it supports 1,600 and the motherboard says 2,000 but I'm seeing plenty of RAM at 2133 or even 2400 within a few dollars. Is there any benefit for it?

Depends on the motherboard , some can run 2133 but there is barely a benefit.
1866 is the sweetspot IMO & will run with standard SPD settings on any decent 970/990 board.

You can sometimes buy 2133 cheaper ,if so its worth buying just to run at 1866 with lower cas settings.

link doesnt work mate.

That old 760g board - its unlikely that you ll run past 1600mhz with a 4 stick setup mate,I have the same board with 4x4 gb sticks & did actually manage stability at 1866mhz but your talking hours of painstaking manual setting up.

The link works for me, but anyways it's a Corsair Vengeance at 2400.

Well even if it doesn't work at full speed it costs the same or less and would use less voltage/be more stable if underclocked so not really a loss right?
