I've had the HP Compaq 8100 Elite CMT paired with a GTX 750 ti for a year now, and the GTX 750 has definitely passed its time.
Cooler: Same as provided by HP, but I added Arctic Compound
CPU: i5-2400
RAM: 12gb DDR3
HDD: Seagate 1tb SATA
Motherboard: Provided by HP
PSU: Standard 320W proprietary thing by HP

Now what I want to do is bang an RX480 in there, but I know it isn't that simple. I need more wattage, but I can't think of a way to replace the PSU due to the proprietary headers they use in the PSU and Mobo.
Anyone know a solution to add my own PSU to the mix? i don't really want to start from scratch, I really like the case.

Looks like the solution is not a very palatable one. It involves getting a 2nd power supply and an adapter. The connector pins look like they are proprietary to keep you locked into the proprietary PSU. This is the only work around I can find.

See, this was my problem :/
I guess I'm just gonna have to get one of those external internal PSUs and connect it up to the RX480. Still though, thanks :)
Even if it is a bit ghetto, it'll work.
