So I have a gtx 970, with a z97-e from asus. The card is well placed in the first slot , it is supposed to run @ 16X pcie 3.0
But in the bios and cpu-z ( on load ) the card shows : Card is supporting 16x but run @ 8x 3.0
I've check the bios, all options are set correctly, the gtx 970 is set correctly in the first pcie 16x slot, and i dont use any other slot, i dont have any other component on the board.
The setup runs fine, fps are good, but i always been wondering why I can't get the card to run @ full 16x ???
Any idea ???
