In my country I can get Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6GB or Asus GeForce GTX 1060 Dual OC 6GB
for the same price

Gigabyte G1 Gaming requires an 8 pin PCIE connector and Asus requires only 6 pin PCIE connector. My 550W Antec PSU has two PCIE 6 pin connectors but lacks and 8 pin connector. Will the Gigabyte G1 work properly with an 6 pin to 8 pin adapter? My PSU can power graphics cards that require two 6 pin connectors and over 150W TDP and Gigabyte G1 Gaming has less than that.
Which one should I choose ?
Which one is better in terms of performance, temperature and noise ?
What kind of 6 pin to 8 pin adapter do I need for the Gigabyte G1 ?

Solution
Get the Asus then rather than using an adapter. The 1060 runs cool and ASus don;t make bad cards. As a rule of thumb, with Pascal, so long as it's a two fan model(for quietness) you're golden.
