Fast wifi, slow LAN?

My phone via Speedtest is getting 13ms-ping, 89.30mbps-download & 6.20mbps-upload, however my PC during speedtest is getting 35ms-ping, 1.77mbps-download & 6.02mbps-upload. I've tried to reset my modem/wifi (all in one through Comcast) with no luck. Anything else I can try before calling Comcast?

Is it noticeably slower in use? Could just be a bad server was selected during speedtest.
Could be an issue with your Ethernet cable (any physical damage?)
What kind of modem/router are you using? - I would like to search around and see if there are similar issues w/ it.

It could be your Ethernet port can you send a spec list of your networking gear.

Ethernet cables are fine and I tried a different port on my motherboard and modem/router with no improvement. The thing is that I didn't even notice the lower speeds until I tried reinstalling Blade & Soul and the connection speed dropped so quick down to were there's no speed listed on the updater which is odd.

I think I have another Ethernet cord somewhere, I might connect that as well then bridge the connections and see if that helps.

Yes now that I looked at your pc specs I dont think its that. the Z97 EXTREME6 is a solid mobo. try different ports on router.

Possibly, I keep retesting and now I'm getting different speeds going between 45mbps & 10 mbps which is better but essentially I'm paying for 80. One thing I'm going to try is updating my LAN driver for Win10 as I don't think I did that before.

Well try it on a different os and see what happens a lot of people are having issues with windows 10.
and also if you are using cable internet (As you may know) it can depend on how meany people on your street are also using it. so you could have like 50 people all downloading 100mb files.

Sadly I cant try another OS as my system is the only one working at the moment and my Win7 Key I used to upgrade to Win10 so I can't revert it back. The speed seems to be getting better so I may just blame this on other users (its 11pm) and Comcast doing "updates" for there network. Downloads now are stable *crosses fingers* at around 5mbps which is fine. The bridging seemed to help a bit but I suppose my Ethernet cables are kind of old and probably do need to be replaced. The LAN driver update for Win10 might of worked as well. I appreciate the help guys/gals!
