I have this Gigabyte R7 360OC which is really a great card especially for the price since is just came out recently. However, I noticed my card was revision 2.0, so I thought hey, since some of the reviews said they had problems (not a lot of the reviews just one or two) with it dying and what not, ........maybe they updated it in some way to make it a totally better card. So I have the 2.0 version. Now there's a freakin' 3.0 version! What the heck is going on? There's 360OC Rev3.0's floating around out there now and I have no idea what they fixed.
Here is the even crazier part;

On the new revised version of my card they dropped the "OC" back down to 1100mhz as the default whereas mine (rev. 2.0) is 1200mhz (core clock that is)

My current card Rev. 2.0 - http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5789#kf
The new one Rev. 3.0 - http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=6021#kf
Did they make a mistake before and put it too high at 1200 and now they are dropping them down to 1100 in Rev 3.0?

I just wanna know what's up with that.

Solution
With out pictures of the PCB it's impossible to see if they made any physical changes with rev 3.
What most likely happened is there were to many unstable cards at 1200mhz so they released a new bios, all future cards come stock with the new bios so they call it rev 3.
