reason i have the 750ti is cus i already have it and im saving up for those other parts and it runs great till i can upgrade it, main point of this question was to see if the one im planning to build will be better or worse then the 1 my friend is saving to buy.

its a very gud card no doubt...i own it personally as u can see on my signature...and if u already have it, then theres no point buying another card rite now, unless u want to...
coming to the main point, as mentioned by everyone above, ur build looks much better than the prebuilt...

can any1 explain how worse the prebuilt is compared to the build yourself one? my friend wants to know exactly how much of a difference, he doesnt want to build 1 cus hes worried about anything going wrong

PCPP list:
Far superior processor
Likely higher quality motherboard (this is one way prebuilt systems are cheaper)
More RAM
SSD
Better case
Far superior power supply. Pre built units almost always contain junk units that must be replaced (this is the second way they lower prices)
On a side note, not sure why you opted for an external drive when an internal 1TB drive is cheaper.

The actual numbers for this comparison will vary, but the SSD alone makes the PCPP link a better build. Not to mention a proper desktop processor, more RAM, and other quality components.
