I have 2 8gb sticks of gskill ripjaws DDR4 RAM and lately it's been reaching 99% usage and won't go down. I have to reboot the system every time it does this now because my computer gets sluggish and sometimes programs start crashing when it reaches full usage. I've run the Windows memory diagnostics tool, no errors. I've tried closing every program I have running, including ones going on in the background. Nothing is making the memory go back to normal levels.
Nothing else seems to be going wrong. Temperatures are all fine.
My processes tab on Task Manager just has Firefox at the top using ~800mb. As I said though, I've tried closing everything at the top of that list and at most it knocks off a few percentage points from my memory usage. I've even monitored it with Resource Monitor. Firefox is the biggest usage, but it's never using even a full gig. Yet within 24 hours the memory usage will reach 99%. At which point I can sign out of my account, sign back in, and it will still be at 99%.
