Does it do the same thing without the 3 way splitter? If not, you can check with the vendor or the splitter you are using, but I doubt you will get any solution.

What 3 way HDMI cable did you purchase?
There must be some process in place so the TV will recognize and accept input via HDMI1 from the desired source device.
Is there any problem if two of the three source devices are turned off (or maybe unplugged even)?
