Computer turning on for a couple of seconds and then off in a continuous loop

Firstly this post might be a quite long so I apologise in advance but if you stick around to the end to try and help I will be very grateful as I'm quite stuck!

Basically I brought parts for my computer which I built this time last year which worked successfully until about 1-2 months in when I started getting this problem every so often when I'd try to power it on and it would turn on for a few seconds and then off and be stuck in a loop until I turned it off by the switch at the back and then it would boot successfully. This happened occasionally for a few weeks until I reseated a few components thinking it was just a short circuit and eventually it went away and I didn't have that problem again.

Around a two months ago I came back from a weekend away and tried to power my computer on and was faced with the same issue, stuck in a loop, although this time I couldn't get it to boot at all.

I took everything out of the case and breadboarded it with just the mobo, psu, cpu+heat sink+ fan and one stick of ram. With a bit of fiddleling I got that to run fine and I added each component one by one, followed by the a HDMI into my monitor which delivered me a signal. So I put everything back into my case and used it for that night successfully with no problems, putting the fix down to re seating the components.

The following day I tried turning my
Computer on and once again it was stuck in the on and off loop, although this time after a few loops it would stay on but would not deliver any output display on my monitor at all. Odd. So once again I breadboarded it again and it refused to boot in that formation but then I discovered that slot 3 and 4 for my ram had stopped working along with one of my sticks of ram. Very odd. So being a bit bewildered by the last few days discovresies I stuck with the one stick of working ram in the working slots, got it to boot and put it all together again, and also ordered brand new ram. Once again I used it for the night successfully and put the
Problem down to the ram slots and the bad ram stick.. being a little
Naive I guess I was wrong again.

Following day, guess what, same
Problem. Tried breadboaring again but no such luck this time at all no matter what I tried. So I invited a friend around so I could have some assistance. I tried my ram in his computer which confirmed they were now both bad as they gave him BSOD. So at this point all alarms are pointing to the mobo for me, so I raised an RMA with scan (where I got my mobo) and I send it away to be tested and hopefully to get a replacement. Unfortunately for me that was not the case. They were about to test on my mobo but found bent cpu pins so they stopped it right there and my warranty was void. Being the fast paced, impatient person I am, I must've bent them when I removed my cpu before I sent off the mobo, oops!! So anyway my only option was to Get the board
sent away to MSI by scan to repair the cpu socket pins and then test the whole board to see if it works and if not, repair what I hoped was the original problem and send it back and all would be fine and dandy.

Fast forward a month and we're at the present, I've got my board back (so exciting) and breadboarded it to check all is well but fate is not
On my side as it still does not work!! With my BRAND NEW (may I add) ram sticks in any of the slots(did one at a time) it is stuck in the loop of on and off until I short the pins again and turn it off, although oddly enough, without any ram sticks in it stays on but obviously delivers no output signal as there's no ram.

So that's pretty much the end of my isssue. Could it now be my psu that was the original problem? Any help would be hugely, hugely helpful and once again I'm sorry it was so long and full of detail but then again I guess that's not a bad thing in this sort of situation.

P.s. If anyone needs a list of
My parts for reference I will be happy to provide them for you!

I tried my ram in his computer which confirmed they were now both bad as they gave him BSOD.
That confirmed nothing unless you cleared CMOS before installing the memory or went in a manually set the timings and voltage.
Still sounds like a motherboard issue.

No I didn't try that, that's my bad. Is there anything else I can try before I rma the board again?
