RAM Clashing With CPU Cooler?

Hello.

I am thinking of putting together a new PC build in the coming weeks but haven't found an answer to one of my questions yet. I will be using 4 sticks of Hyper X Fury RAM on an MSI Krait Z97S motherboard and the CPU will be cooled using a CM 212 Evo with a Corsair SP120 fan pushing air through.

I am just wondering whether or not the RAM will be visible using this configuration and not being covered up by the SP120. If the RAM is not visible, will there be enough clearance underneath the fan, assuming I can move the fan up, using a 3rd party Corsair SP120?

Thank you very much for your help, have a good day,

Solution
The fan on the 212 EVO will impinge on only the first or maybe second RAM slot.
Yes, you can move the fan up to clear it. The RAM sticks will still be visible.

Okay, thank you very much.

Do you know.... Would it be possible to raise an SP120 fan, further up the heat sync, away from the motherboard and RAM or is it only possible with the stock fan included?

Thank you very much.

Yes.

There are actually 3 parts:
The big aluminum fin thing.
The clip that grabs on to the fins
The fan that screws into the clip thing.

Visualize this:
A box (the big aluminum fin thing)
Your hand (the clip thing)
Something taped to the back of your hand (the fan)

You can 'grab' the 'box' at whatever location you like.

By sliding it up, you are simply grabbing the aluminum fins at a slightly different location.
What is attached to that clip is of no consequence. Original fan, new fan...makes no difference, as long as it screws in. And any 120mm fan should screw in no problem.
