I'm building a Windows 7/64 Pro machine around a Broadwell-C and H97 mini ITX. For now I'm going with a regular SATA 6Gbps SSD with no dedicated graphics card. I'd like to get an x4 SSD someday and migrate the install there, but would it work in the only available x16 or would the manufacturer expect me to only put a graphics card there?
Can an x4 PCIe ssd work in the x16 slot of a mini ITX?
