when one pc downloads on the internet all other pcs internet slows down

Only thing to do is to contact your ISP and change your internet service pack to a faster connection (higher download and upload).
But why this is happening is because internet connection is shared. When he starts downloading something, he uses up most of the connection speed and you're left with slower connection.

You are getting good rates, but you have poor bandwidth.
Thats something you have to discuss with your ISP (new plan most likely).
I had the same issue on my home internet, not enough bandwidth. My college internet (were using a personal router off the main modem) runs 5 connections without a single impact on speeds regardless of data use. That is a high bandwidth connection.

hmm ok but i still dont get how when he is the only one on the internet he get 1.1mb download and when i am the only one on the internet i get like 7mb but if i am downloading with 7+ and he starts to download we both drop below 1mb download

Could it be a prority setting in the router? Tinkered with some settings to have on device take prority over another?
