I recently built a new PC and for the first few weeks it was working perfectly fine, however just today when opening games (Dota 2, Overwatch etc.) which would normally run fine the fan's began revving up and suddenly the screen goes black, although it is just the display crashing as the audio continues. I tried making sure all my drivers were up to date, and I can't see how it would be a power issue, so wondering if anyone has any other suggestions?
Specs:
PSU - Corsair Rmx750
MB - Asus Maximus VIII Formula
GPU - EVGA 1080 FTW
CPU - i7 6700k
Edit: I managed to run HWMonitor up until the point where it crashes and it was reading ~69C and fairly normal fan speeds for the GPU up until that point
