Hi,

So I decided to build my own computer and now it all done, all parts are together.
I start it up and boom, error codes and red lights. What can possibly be going on? I have been extremely careful.
Here is a video showing what happens..

Parts in my build:
MSI GAMING X 1070
AX760
H100i V2 Corsair
i7 6700k
Samsung EVO 850 1TB
16gb DDR4 RAM LPX Corsair

Further, I do not get anything on screen not even a signal. I plugged the hdmi into my graphcis card, my motherboard, but nothing. The fans all spin without a problem.

I'm going crazy thinking I destroyed it, PLEASE HELP.

I have but it wont do anything what so ever. Thanks so much for your help!

Try removing the graphics card and testing with monitor connected to motherboard.
Are you using a monitor, or tv?

I'm using a Dell U2515H and with a standard hdmi to hdmi cable. I had to use the cable from my tv because this motherboard does not have thunderbolt ports which are included with the display.

Oh yes it does! I plugged the hdmi into 2 instead of 1, so it uses a preset to switch between the various input options. Should I place my videocard back into my system and then check whether it works, or can I check it without it? this could be big if the error codes are normal

Yes I have a screen alxoiu!!!! What should I do now?
If you have a paypal btw I would be gald to buy you a coffee, you're a tremendous help! By the way: It is not bad to turned it off with the button right? I've been doing that. I'm new to building pc's so that's why I ask.

And lastly can you confirm that the error codes and red lights are nothing to worry about?

Based off of the Code of A9 for your board it's just booting for setup so should be working just fine, Check the HDMi slot you're using and boot, and let it boot. If you ever have a error, look at the code on that screen on the board, it tells you whats going on with no screen.

:)
Glad it helped.
Reinstall the graphics card, start the system and.. have fun!

It's ok if using the button to turn it off. When Windows installed, use the command to shut it down.

Amazing, thanks for you help! I'm now going to eat first because I haven't done that all day building this rig.. You saved my day I think.. and my money. I'll finish this meal, install the graphics card and see how windows 10 is doing. Then I'll come back (or sooner if something else comes up.)

See you after the meal.

So it did work without my graphics card but with I can't get into the bios. Should I update something in the bios without the graphics card or should I use a different cable type? Because here is someone with a similar problem:

here

he used a different cable and managed to get in.
Here he said:
"Problem Solved! BIOS is not displaying because of the graphics card + display combination.

I just had the bright idea to try another display and it worked! For some reason BIOS doesn't like my 32" HDTV when it's connected to my graphics card. It will show up just fine with that display if I use the Intel graphics.. but not with my GTX 260. When I hooked up my old Samsung 226BW to the GTX 260, I could see my BIOS just fine.

"So it appears the motherboard itself works just fine.. it's just their BIOS seems to have issues with some display/video card combinations. I'm still disappointed that I was unable to get any support from Gigabyte through all of this, but I'm happy that everything is working now."

Should I try this.. or something else?

Thanks again
