Can't Access Router Web Page But I Am Using Correct IP!

I can't access my router's web page. I have looked up the router's ip and I am using the correct one, however when i type it into the address bar it won't do anything. Please help

Where did you look up the router's IP?

If you are entering the correct private IP and can't access the router, it is time for a reset. It should take less time to reprovision the router than it does to figure out the problem. And while doing this, update the router firmware if you can, to get the latest available security patches.

I live in a duplex and the router is upstairs in the empty unit, which i have no access to. Essentially i just need to access the router to open some ports for gaming on my ps4. I looked up the router's IP from the terminal on my macbook pro. Are there any options other than resetting the router? Thanks for your help.
