DDR4 2400 vs 2133 and XMT settings

Hello,

I want to pair a Sabertooth Z170S Asus mobo with 2x 8GB DDR4 ram.

The mobo advertises 2133 to 2400, and tests show that it can go further. I'm not looking to manually overclock. Should i just get 2133 as the safe choice?

However, should i choose to install 2400, is it just pnp? Or is there some tweaking, which I would not want to do, in XMT? Some RAM modules seem to have XMT 2.0 with pnp capability? Thoughts?

Finally, I will use the Bios turbo-boost to automatically OC the i76700 CPU/mobo config. Would i require 2400 for that?

Thank you!
Jonathan

Solution
You should be able to use either set with no problems, with the 2400 - simply enable XMP, select profile 1 and the BIOS will set the DRAM up for you ;)
