Hi this is my first time in the forums. Im going to buy a graphic card but problems are that Im on a very tight budget and so i need a graphic card not more than $150 which can run Batllefield 4 in 1080p around high settings with minimum 40 fps

my system is:
Intel Core i5 650 3.23 GHz (quad core)
4 gb ddr3 ram
ASUS Raedon R7 240 2GDDR3

Solution
So you have two things affecting what you can do. Number one, that power supply is very low power. You might be limited to something like a 750 ti or AMD RX 460, since they have low power demands. Also, even if you had a more powerful power supply, your CPU would limit game performance. This makes spending money on a new power supply and new videocard a questionable investment.

In my opinion, 40fps or more at high settings in 1080p with BF4 might not be realistic for this computer.

its a 2 core cpu with hyper threading

ALL computers have a power supply

open your case and look, post back with make and model

it is important, as you might need a new one

Not worth going past a RX 460 with that old gen i5.
Bus powered models OK only pull 30w more than that 240.

Generally the 460 is about twice as powerful as your current card.

Can be had for the $110 mark but that's going to be country specific
