An i7 6700k would be better than an i7 6700. You will need an overclockable motherboard and cpu cooler to overclock the i7 6700k though. And if you can afford it, go for the i7 6800k, the extra cores and threads are very useful for core/thread demanding programs.

i didn't.
I referred the i7 6700K in a short way by omitting both i7 and K and without mentioning intel anyway. There were only two CPUs in the list, so don't see a point to write the whole name.
