Hello guys! i have LGA775 board that is compatible to 1333mhz ram.. My concern is when i set it to auto it will under clocked into 1066mhz, But when i set it to 1333mhz ram it will give me BSOD (System service exception pdc.sys) after logging into windows. Can you please help me i want to maximize my PC to full capacity without overclocking.

Specs:
Motherdboard: LGA775 g41d3 biostar
Processor: Core2duo e8400
Ram: 1333mhz 4gb

Solution
DDR3 standard voltage is 1.5 so you could try voltages upto 1.58 but I wouldn't suggest any higher. That said DDR3 can be OC'ed to 1.6 in most cases. If it doesnt work you may be stuck at 1066.

Can you help me determine the right voltage? Is this frequent BSOD harmful?
