I'm looking to upgrade my current rig, and both the Nitro+ and FTW+ are currently the same price ($230+shipping) on Newegg. Which would be the better choice?

Links- GTX 1060 RX 480
rx 480 would be a better choice compared to 1060 3G, but i would pick a Nitro+. maybe msi gaming x or xfx rs. the Nitro+ is known to have poor thermals and power draw.
I would choose the 480. In this case, it has more VRAM and the Polaris architecture works better with the newest graphics engines, meaning that it's performance will increase as more developers use DX12 and Vulcan.
$230 is not a good price for a 3GB 1060. Your can get them for $199 all the time. The 8GB 480 and 6GB 1060 start at around $240-250 so the 4GB 480 is not a very good deal either.

Apparenty most orders aren't actually fulfilled by them. More then likely pc parts are going to be shipped by Newegg. They were recently bought by Wall-mart. I don't know if that makes them more or less shady, but its not like they are some kind of fly by night company. Their website is shite though.
I wanted to comment on this because I've been looking for a deal on a graphics card using the promo codes in jet.com (I'm debating right now between a PNY GTX 1060 6GB at $206 or Gigabyte RX 480 4GB at $188 after a %15 discount) Looks like great deals but when you say the website is bad now I'm afraid. In what sense is it bad? The customer service if something goes wrong or the product not being what was supposed to be?

Stuff like not sending out orders, cancelling accounts, etc. A google search will yield a lot of complaints on sites like Reddit and Quora.
