I have a Dell XPS 8700 Bios version A11 7/9/2015. I recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 in the 2TB with no issues. After that I upgraded with an 850 EVO SSD by installing clean Windows 10 on SSD with no sweat. My problem is that my 1.8 TB Harddisk never shows up EVERY FIRST BOOT. I have to restart Windows 10 and then the 1.8 TB WOULD APPEAR with no issues. It is always like this every time I start from cold boot. I need help guys as my unit is out of warranty and I had no luck searching for answers, not even in Dell Support website. I checked all the drivers and they are all updated with no issues. Checked the 1.8 TB harddrive and there are no hardware/software defects. Tried Legacy and UEFI boot settings with no resolve.
I have already wiped out the 1.8TB as the Evo 850 is running Windows 10 already.
Specs:
BIOS: UEFI Boot: Windows Boot Manager
(Legacy = Disabled)
i7 4790
16GB DDR3
Nvidia 970
Samsung Evo 850 256gb
1.8 TB Seagate SSHD
Lite-on 32GB mSATA (before used as Flash in Windows 8.1 Legacy boot mode but reformatted for storage space already)
Appreciate expert advice. Looking for answers. Thanks in advance!
