I got a prebuilt PC from cyber power and was wondering if was possible to replace the gpu(gtx 1070) with a 1080, and whenever i need to use the warranty, just put the 1070 back in. is there anyway they would know that i swapped it out at one point?

They will only know if there is a warranty seal on the covers of the case. If you violate the seals, your warranty is void. Unless you talk to them and they can replace your GPU for you, or the say Yes, you can replace it yourself and you won´t lose the warranty.
No warranty seals, you can do it yourself without issue.

Still, no point on replacing a perfectly good 1070 IMO..
