I have a MSI r7770 pmd1gd5 and am trying to figure out which Motherboard and Processor to buy but i am unaware on which will be the best for the Graphics Card. I am looking to spend around £150 maybe £200 at a push.

Solution
All you need is CPU + Mobo?

For around $150+ you could get a Haswell i3 + a cheap LGA 1150 motherboard and it would leave room to upgrade to an i5 or i7 later down the road. A Haswell i3 would be more than enough to keep up with the HD 7770.

*But if you could spend that much, might as well get a Skylake i3 + LGA 1151 mobo. But this all depends on what RAM you plan on using.

Those sound perfect, I have 2x4gb of Fury HyperX Ram.. I was also wondering if i will need to upgrade my power supply i have a 230 v one.

Is your RAM DDR3 or DDR4?

Do you mean you have a 230W power supply? If so then yes you will need a better power supply.

The Ram is DDR3, and it just says 230V so I'm taking it as voltage but i assume it isn't a high wattage. If you also have suggestions for these I'm up for them. Although id say around £100 budget for them...

thank you this has helped so much. would this power supply be suitable? https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020097-UK-VS550-Power-Supply/dp/B00TE4XSMA/ref=pd_lpo_147_lp_t_4?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=6NRM81F0WTF9903JKFA2

I'm not sure what price you were planning to pay for that power supply, but I see it is listed for $138.46, that is double what the Corsair VS600W is listed for on Corsair's website. Also, the Corsair VS is entry-level, so it's not going to be the best.

This one below would be very good and would be sufficient well in to the future when you want to add a better graphics card:
