Hi i have a budget of 2,500 dollars to build an ultra high end PC build.

I have all the peripherals:
Keyboard: Corsair K70 MX Red Switches RGB
Mouse: G502 Spectrum
Monitor: Asus MG279Q, 1440p, 144hz, FreeSync
Mousepad: Razer Firefly.
Headphones: Hyper X Cloud 2.

I'm getting a feel on what the general community thinks is "worth it" for my budget.

The ONLY requirement is that it has to use Phantek Enthoo Evolv Tempered Glass Edition (since I love the case)

Note that even though my monitor is Freesync, you may put Nvidia stuff in the graphic card department and I'll budget the money that you put into the graphic card into the upcoming AMD Vega next year (i'll just buy everything except the graphic card).

Thanks in advance for your builds!

MoBo
Put in the high end MSI Z-series MoBo. Z-series MoBo enables you to fully overclock your CPU and RAM aswell. While the base RAM frequenzy is 2133 Mhz, this motherboard supports overclocking RAM speeds up to 3200 Mhz.
LGA1151 socket this MoBo has, supports the current Skylake and future Kaby Lake and Cannonlake CPUs from Intel.
The bells and whistles this MoBo has is so long that you're better reading them by yourself from the following link.
specs: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z170A-XPOWER-GAMING-TITANIUM-EDITION.html

RAM
Put in two sets of 2x 8GB RAM, total of 32GB. This RAM supports overclocking speeds up to 3200 Mhz. Also the white aluminium heat spreaders on the RAM sticks is a great fit to the white surroundings.

Case
Picked the case you desired but changed the color to Galaxy Silver to complete the white theme for this build.
specs: http://www.phanteks.com/Enthoo-Evolv-ATX-TemperedGlass.html

I honestly don't think Vega or Zen are going to live up to the hype. Zen should have been out by now but it keeps getting pushed back and that's never a good thing, and certainly doesn't bode well for Vega. And one thing I will say is that if you build with upgrading in mind, you will *NEVER* be satisfied with what you have and it will wind up costing you 2 - 3x more than you originally wanted to pay.

That said this system is a little bit over budget but will work for what you want it to do:

Thank you all 3 for replying.

I am really tempted to return the MG279q and go for a gsync monitor (like pg279q) and buy a gtx 1080 for my new build but i have no clue of Vega will hold up or if Nvidia can do async compute effectively ( i know for a fact gtx 1070 + 1080 cant do it legitly, its basically emulated).

Should I just go for Nvidia now (return the mg279q (freesync monitor), buy gtx 1080 and pg279q (gsync monitor) or wait for AMD vega (keep mg279q, wait for vega before buying graphics carrd)

I have seen freesync and gsync and i can say that it makes a huge difference in how smooth it looks. So I have to have a monitor that matches AMD or Nvidia

I especially love the white and black build and how you went into explaining in each and every part.

It took me good several hours to complete my reply to you, while checking every detail (e.g. if MoBo supports that specific RAM in all 4 slots or not. It does support).

Describing each and every part in the build gives a good idea about the components and why i chosed them. And the links to the manufacturer's websites are for additional info for each part.

Thank you all for your time. I will take all builds as a template on what in general to get for my build (you can see a general pattern in all of it, i7 6700k is a big one!) :)
