Hey guys. My girlfriend has been having some internet issues with her new laptop, and I'm at a loss with how to solve it. [strike]She refuses to ask anyone else for help, so, here I am.[/strike]

For some reason, her internet connection through this laptop is near unbearable. All of the other devices on her network get normal speeds (wireless or otherwise), except for this laptop, which sometimes degrades to dial-up speeds.
We tried uninstalling/reinstalling the wireless drivers from the manufacturer's website, but it didn't make any difference.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
