Memory, Wrong Frequency?

So, my motherboard is the z97-a usb 3.1 and i am trying to fix my memory frequency? currently, the ram is at 1333MHz, yet it is stated that it is 2400MHz. After changing the frequency in the bios, it still does not change the dram status and cpu-z states the frequency is at 1199.8MHz. Im sorta lost, any help appreciated.

DDR3 2400 has an actual clock frequency of 1200Mhz with an effective speed of 2400 since it Dual Data Rate ram, so the report of 1199.8Mhz is fine.

Asus boards are funky like that. Mine downclocks the ram according to cpu-z as well. In my msi board, its 933MHz, in my Asus board, same ram is 932.9MHz. Which makes it 1866 ddr3 ram.
