I installed a SSD (Samsung XP941 256 GB) on my EliteOne 800 G2 AIO and now, PC doesn't boot up (stops on splash screen). I am able to enter Bios and run diagnostics successfully. I am not trying to boot from SSD but the primary HDD. If i disable M2. Key slot in Bios, it boots flawlessly.

Anybody can help with a solution?

the best way would be to connect the ssd when windows is running and use "Samsung Magician" software from samsung to do what you need the software is very easy to use
Hey there, epis78.

I think you'd better go with the basic troubleshooting here. Try the SSD with a different computer if possible, to see if the same thing happens. Check for available firmware updates for that drive model. Try updating or resetting your BIOS, to see if that fixes things up.

Ultimately you could get in touch with the computer manufacturer's customer support and ask for help, to see if you might be missing some settings you should change in the BIOS/UEFI.

Hope that helps. Please let me know how it goes.

I don't have another PC with PCIe slot. I updated bios but no difference.

Is it safe to insert SSD while PC is running?
