Hey guys,

So its my first time building my own PC and I have a couple of questions to ask:

1. Is my motherboard sufficient/good enough for a mid-tier budget? And if not, what can I replace it with?

2. I've been trying to decide which GPU to get, either a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 OC 4/8GB or a MSI RX 480 Gaming X 4/8GB GDDR5

3. Should I get a 4 or 8 GB GPU?

4. Any other suggestions/advice in general would be really helpful

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus H170M-PLUS Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
Storage: Sandisk SSD PLUS 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 480 4GB NITRO+ 4G Video Card
Case: Fractal Design Define Mini MicroATX Mini Tower Case
Power Supply: SeaSonic 520W 80+ Bronze Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

*By the way, my HDD came from my old pre-built PC and so did my Samsung SyncMaster P2250 Monitor (1080)

Thanks!

a RX 480 8GB would be my choice, or a GTX 1060 6GB.
if you dont do any complex work like rendering, site planning and will be using the PC just for gaming then the i5 6500 will do good with a RX 480 8GB and the GTX 1060 6GB. but if you do complex work like 3D rendering etc, then i would first get a H110 motherboard and use the extra cash on getting an i7 6700 or a better GPU like the GTX 1070.
dont waste your cash on RAM with speeds greater than 2133 MHz, as far as i know only Z170 boards can support higher frequencies.

Alright, thanks; will edit my build. Also which aftermarket GPU should I get,
a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 480 OC 8GB or a MSI RX 480 Gaming X 8GB GDDR5. And what do you think about the motherboard?

Okay will do; and one last thing. Can you recommend any other good quality cases, preferably one that can possibly sit on my desk.
