Looking to purchase my second laptop for around £400 not into gaming just surfing the net and watch DVDs ,seems to be a minefield out there when looking for a reliable brand

The problem with looking at brands is the quality of different models from the same brand same is different quality levels. Look at laptopmag.com and look at the low priced laptops and ten if you can test drive at a computer store do that. Then buy for the cheapest price you find.
