Is a 120GB SSD big enough for Windows 7 OS?

Hi,

I'm upgrading a few parts of my computer that I use for gaming and graphic design using programs like Photoshop and Illustrator etc. I'm looking at using a 120gb SSD for my Windows 7 OS and I'm wondering if this is big enough. I already have a 250gb SSD installed and I use that only for games while I have a 1tb HDD that currently has my OS on and the bulk of my files such as pictures/videos. I know that the OS will technically fit onto 120gb, but will it gradually grow with an accumulation or random files as I install programs even if I am installing them onto the 1tb HDD?

I know this may sound like a very silly question but if you don't know, you don't know.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks very much in advance!

Andy

Considering the relatively minor cost of 240gb($75 vs. $55) compared to120gb, go with 240gb.
Yes, windows and some stuff will fit.
But why not take advantage of the speed of a ssd.
Photos do not take up much room, check you folder size.
It is videos that need lots of space.
Larger ssd devices are a bit faster and the endurance is greater.
I upgraded to 10 a while ago. Sitting on my desk is my 128GB Windows 7 Pro SSD. I just popped it in to look at it. Used space: 46 GB. Free space: 72 GB. So 7 will fit handily. However, like any other recent Windows OS, it will "gradually grow with an accumulation of files."
