I want to build a PC, mainly for gaming but occasionally to edit hi-rez photos on Lightroom.
I've used pcpicker to gather relevant items but wanted to know if I could improve or change anything on the list.

The budget it £600 as I have other things to buy.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ross

Solution
Yes, FX 6300 has weak individual cores, furthermore I belive DX 11 and former versions don't utilize many cores. The i3 has two very strong cores when compared to AMD FX, meaning it should run better. Also FX uses an odd architecture that means cores share all the other processing bits, scheduling and overall performance is hindered. i3 is newer, runs cooler, takes less power, AND performs the same if not better than a lot of the FX CPU's at base clocks.
