Ive been playing skyrim for the past 2 years on high settings and stable 50 fps with 100+ mods...5 or 6 months ago i started using ENBs like sharpshooter enb and i usually get stable 30-36fps...just today i decided to try a new enb which is called realvision enb...its gives alot of performance hit and puts fps to 15-20 which was expected by me..

ok so now i deleted realvision enb and then put on my previos sharpshooter enb...i should get what i used to get,30-36 fps right? Tada...my fps is now 20-22 -_- i dont know why this happened but i heard some tips to start a new game or restart pc..none of them helped...my fps is still strangely low...and i used a enb removal tool to remove realvision..its probabbly not like "2 Enb merge together and gives u 20 fps"... i really want my game to run like it was before...Basically this problem started when i removed my mid end enb,put on a high end Enb,removed that high end Enb and then put back my mid end Enb......so any help for me? :(

ENBs use several configuration files whose settings can impact performance. They also come with an injector which modifies the DLL creating graphics aftereffects. It's possible you switched ENBs, but some of the old settings and injector are still in place.

Try uninstalling all ENBs. Make sure all ENB-related files are deleted from your Skyrim folder, particularly enblocal.ini, enbseries.ini, injector.ini. There may be a few others - it's been over a year since I last played around with these. Once you're sure you've scrubbed your Skyrim installation of all ENB-related files, go ahead and reinstall the ENB.

I should point out that Skyrim Special Edition is scheduled to be released Oct 28. It's Skyrim with an updated graphics...

I should point out that Skyrim Special Edition is scheduled to be released Oct 28. It's Skyrim with an updated graphics engine which includes most of the effects that an ENB adds. If you own Skyrim Legendary Edition or all the DLCs, Special Edition will be a free upgrade. So you may want to just wait til Oct 28.
