What case and what RAM? They dictate the choices you'll have for coolers. In general the H7 is the new go to for coolers, but as you've noticed their availability is sometimes a hassle. What vendors are you using for your build?

How much does the average AIO last? It says it has 5 year warranty, but idk if its okay to trust them with an 1400k pc )=

Alright that narrows the search down a bit. Do you know what case you're using? That decides if a monster air cooler gets slapped in to there or if we need to find something smaller.

I've heard the 5year mark is a pretty good number for the pump provided it doesn't run in to any issues along the way. Air is always going to be safer (the fans can't leak), but AIO's are great if you have to get the cooling in to a small space and want to OC or just like the look of the AIO vs air.

The warranty is 5 years so expect about 5 years out of the cooler. But, you will probably upgrade your CPU in the next 5 years so if I were you, I would upgrade the cooler along with the CPU.

IM using a thermaltake n24 its a mid tower.

Alright so you're working with a max cooler height of 155mm.. so pretty much all the air coolers mentioned in this post except the H7 wont work, and you can't get the H7 in PR. Well damn. Let me see what I can find in that height. What RAM are you using, so we can bypass any issues with that while we're at it.

Corsair Vengeance Pro 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 2400MHz PC3 19200 D but I can change I still havent bough it.

Ok so here's a couple of air coolers to look at

The Deepcool GAMMAXX 400. It's 154.5mm is its just squeaking in. Horrible name aside, its gotten some good reviews. However the outside fan will overhang one of your RAM slots, so if you plan on filling up all 4 slots you'll need to either go with very low profile RAM or go with a different cooler. You can adjust the fan up, but you'll end up going over you 155mm limit that way.

Arctic Freezer i32. Comes in at 150mm so it has plenty of room. One weird thing, its "semi-passive". When it receives PWM signal below 40%, the fan turns off. So this will freak the bios out a bit, so you'd have to set it to ignore the fan speed on the cooler. It's reviewed well and some of the benches show it OCing only a few degrees off the much bigger NH-D15. It also shouldn't interfere or overlap with any RAM slots so you aren't restricted there at all.

Also if you're looking at AIOs, your case supports up to a 240mm radiator so there's a ton of options out there tho I'm not sure what will or will not ship to you.

Swiftech H220-X. Seems to get a lot of good performance reviews. A few customer reviews have problems here or there like anyone else, but it seems Swiftech is pretty fast to respond to them which is always nice to see. It's more expensive than say the Corsair, but it cools better and is runs very quiet. It's expandable and user refillable (which they recommend at least by the end of the 3yr warranty) and uses clear tubing so you can see fluid levels.

Corsair h100i V2. I've installed these and it's a good unit. It doesn't perform on the level of the swiftech but then its a good deal cheaper. I've heard some reports about people complaining about noise, but even at full tilt I didn't find it to be overly noisy and I tend to be pretty picky about noise levels.

[strike]I'm afraid I don't quite understand the question you had about overclocking.[/strike]
*edit Nevermind, I think I sorted it out. If you're going with a singe rad setup, go with the X31. The Corsair H80i out perform the X31 by a couple of degrees but it needs a second fan to do that. Which means higher noise levels and a larger footprint inside your case. Tho it does light up, which the X31 does not.

The Nzxt X31 is a good little cooler. It beats out the Noctua NH-U12P, runs neck and neck with the NH-D14 and isn't too far behind the NH-D15. For a single rad cooler its a good performer. I really like how flexible the tubing is on Nzxt coolers. The one downside (or upside depending) is the length of the tubing. Nzxt tend to have longer tubing than other manufactures, so depending on the case that can be a blessing or a curse. Sadly it doesn't light up like its larger brothers do, but there are worse things in the world.
