Hello,
thats my first post

im using an intel core i5 6600k with corsair H60 as liquid cooler. So i realized that sometimes, something like once per day, cpu temp goes slowly really hot around 90+ and stays there for a short period. All these are happening when idle. Fan is working at full speed cause i hear it and watch it through the monitor. After like 15 mins, it suddenly goes back to normal around 29 degrees. All setting are default. Do you have any explanations or suggestions for this issue?

what is your h60 fan doing? Do you have the fan of the H60 connected to the CPU fan hub overtop of the CPU on the motherboard?
If you see the fan going full speed and the temp staying high then you've got a faulty cooler (likely)

Weird thing is that, the cooler functions great the whole day. temps around 29-35 with normal use. The issue that i meantioned earlier occurs as i said once or less per day, today realized that was the second time, that happening. The issue stay when i try to restart my pc, and when i go into bios temps are the same as HWMonitor and SpeedFan. Im really confused.

I dont think that there is lose cord cause i can see the fan attached to the radiator, inside the case, and watch it also through the monitor softwares that its working at full speed during that short period of overheating

do you have any settings for the pump on the h60? (i have an h100, and it comes with 3 step controll on pump). you should try your stock cooler (which i dont think you got, because it' s a K cpu... but do you?)

it could be the cooler underperforming, just because it's new.. doesnt mean it's perfect

**Update

I dont know if its even viable or rational, but the problem somehow solved. What i did was just to update motherboard's BIOS and everything is fine 3 days now. Great temps and everything runs great.
