My girlfriend just recently moved in with me and I like to game at night. Only problem is I have the 2014 Razer Blackwidow Ultimate keyboard which is just so loud and wakes her up. I am having trouble finding a new keyboard. I am looking for suggestions on a keyboard that is for gaming, quiet, must be back lit and preferably under $150. Anyone have some recommendations? I am considering a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Stealth but wouldn't mind a different brand to try something new.

Razors QC has kind of gone downhill so I wouldn't recommend them.

The keyboard your using is using Razors green switches, which are the equivalent of Cherry Blues, which are known for being click/clacky. If you're going for mechanical keys, look for Cherry Red or Brown switches. The Reds and Browns are silent (except when the key physically hits the keyboard), the difference being Reds do not have a "bump" that you'd feel when the key is pressed down, while the Browns will have that bump.

I'd look at the Corsair lineup. The K70 (RGB or normal), the Strafe are normal sized key keyboard (have the number pad), the K65 series is a 10key less (no number pad). Just don't get the Cherry MX Blue
key switch versions. Logitiech G610, G710+...

For a non mechanical keyboard, look at the Steel Series Apex 350 and Apex M500 and you may be able to find the M800 under $150. They're membrane keys, so they aren't going to have the travel you're used to with the Razor but they will be quiet.
