Is it worth upgrading from GTX 970 OC to 1060 OC 6GB?

Currently I have a Gigabyte GTX 970 Windforce 3x OC card and I'm thinking of swapping it to a Gigabyte GTX 1060 Windforce 2x OC 6GB.

I'm playing on 1080p and running a i5 4690 @3.5Ghz - I hope this won't bottleneck.

So, what do you say? Does it worth upgrading, or it's even a downgrade considering the numbers x70 and xx60 .

Solution
The 1060 6gb oc will be faster than the 970, if you can do it all for the same price then it could be worth it. No SLI with the 1060 though if thats a concern for you.

Why do you wanna upgrade? Your current setup can run almost any modern game with high or ultra settings with more than 60fps @1080p.

The gtx1060 is only a slight upgrade. In most games you wont be able to tell the difference with naked eye.

You dont have to worry for your cpu. Its a very good gaming that wont bottleneck any modern gpu

Thank you very much guys!
I'm not a serious gamer since I'm at university and only play at 60Hz :/
The 1070 would be too expensive as well as overpowered.
My only problem is, that this card struggles to maintain 60+FPS in some new games and I got this rig about a year ago, so I thought it could handle more.

Running on 50 fps wont be a problem. You propably cant tell the difference from 50-60 fps so dont worry too muchm as mentioned above you can oc to gain some fps or play with the game settingsto improve framerate. ocing a graphics card is easy, however you need a decent psu

Well, I have enough room for OCing the card even though it's clock speeds has been increased by factory. But if I could get a GB 1060 OC 6GB for tha same price I can sell my current card, does it worth the swap? Or the 970 is more powerful?
