Would this CPU be cooled enough while overclocking with this air cooler?

Would this CPU be cooled enough to be overclocked? Also, I made sure the case, motherboard and CPU are compatible with each other so need to worry about that. Depends on how high you want to overclock it to.

This guy used this cooler and obtained 4,692Ghz stable on I7 6700K.

I am not the kind of guy who overclocks because I am not in need of it. However an I7 6700K is at this moment a truely powerful CPU for alot of task. Overclocking it would only be needed in cases such as heavy CPU tasks and not gaming.

I was just thinking that when in the future and it starts to become a little bit oldish I could start overclocking to compete with newer models. I just don't want to spend the time or money on a new air cooler when I actually need it. Thanks! =)

Overclocking will provide very little in terms of a performance boost.

Every CPU is different , so overclock very well , others not so great , luck of the draw.
