Hello everyone,
I have weird problem since i bought my new PC. The problem is, after boot cold computer (when it turned off couple hours) or temperature in my room are less than 20 degree celsius i get random BSOD:
memory_management
kernel_security_check_failure
page_fault_in_nonpaged_area
bad_pool_header
Computer will get 1-5 times above BSOD's until be stable.
My PC spec:
Motherboard: MSI Z97S SLI PLUS Socket 1150 - latest BIOS
PSU: Be quiet 730W Pure Power L8
RAM: DDR3 Crucial 16GB 1600MHz Ballistix Sport CL9
Graphic Card: PCI-E ASUS GeForce GTX 970 4096MB 256bit DirectCu II Strix OC
Processor: Intel Core i7 4790K 4.00GHz 8MB - no overclock
Cooler: Thermalright HR-02 - Macho
SSD: Intel 120GB 2,5'' 530
HDD: Seagate 1TB 7200 64MB
Istalled differend systems: win 7 SP1, win 8, 81, win 10 - still have BSODs on cold computer.
Installed systems on different discs: SSD, HDD - still have BSODs
Pluggeed SSD, HDD into different SATA ports - still have BSODs
Run memtest86: passed all, no errors
I've started disassembly my PC part by part:
Pulled out graphic card, other small parts like network card - still have BSODs
At the moment I have no idea what is wrong, maby mobo is defective?
Today i'll change RAM and check, maby memtest can't caught everything
One thing that pay my attention on the back mobo are micro "sludge" (small white dots) - right behind processor. Is this normal? At the moment I can't attach screen, maby in the evening.
So, any tips and hints what else should I perform?
