Good morning guys,

So, I built my desktop about 2 years ago and it was wayyy time I changed my thermal paste. (plus there was dust everywhere). So here I am, taking my computer apart. It was all disconnected for about 5 min and in a flash of brilliane I used a can of compressed air on my graphic card ( 770 gtx Ti). I heard a sound and it smelled a bit like burnt. I thought to myself it must NOT be that bad. So i finish everything and plug it back in, my Power Supply is plugged in my graphic card and the LEDs are green showing no problem. However, my display isn't working anymore. The computer turns on and everything. Is there an external way to test whether or not my graphic card is dead?

Do you have an alternative cable that you can plug into a different output port on the GPU?

There is not much that you can do besides putting your GPU in another PC, or putting another GPU in your PC.

Was your GPU still in the PCIe slot when you were cleaning it?

Does your MB have only one PCIe 3.0 slot? If it has more than one try the other PCIe slot.
