How to run multiple USB cameras using Windows 10. Is it a hardware issue? Do I just need specific software?

Hello!
I am trying to run a minimum of 3 USB cameras on a single computer. It is currently running Windows 10, and the Camera app only recognizes one (with no way to switch between them). I'm open to using a different software to make this happen (have been looking at security system software), but not sure what works with USB cameras. In addition, could there a hardware issue? Do I need to be concerned about processing power?

Thanks in advance for any advice - this is not my area of expertise! :)

Thanks for the response! Do you have any other software recommendations? obs is free and open source, but I would prefer a program that has tech support if I need. Even if this means paying for the software.

I had a software problem with windows 10 and my camera. I bought a USB card reader that could read my cameras' memory card. Used a USB slot and my pictures were loaded to computer. BE SURE the reader actually reads you card. My first purchase couldn't read Smart Media cards so I returned and found one that could read smart media cards. There are hundreds of readers so in the search type camera& card type and you will find one. Also it is quicker than attaching camera to computer and no software to load.
