CPU Temp Readings VERY Different

So I know there are already a few threads similar to this, but I'm getting VERY different readings from different CPU temp monitoring apps, and not sure what to believe.

I'm using an AMD A10-7700K APU on an ASUS mobo with a CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo heatsink + 120mm fan. My BIOS shows it to be at ~30'C idle. ASUS AI Suite III shows the same. However, my friend recommended I use NZXT Cam for temps so I got that, but it shows me ~60'C idle. Under load, AI Suite shows ~45'C; NZXT Cam shows in excess of 70'C.

How can there be 30 degrees difference here? I'm currently trusting the AI Suite readings since it's an ASUS mobo, so I'm not too worried about it being too hot.

I've also seen AMD Overdrive being mentioned in similar threads, but after installing it didn't launch(?).

Any words of wisdom much appreciated. :)

I use hwinfo64. Works good and fast. Also, check your task manager CPU utilization on idle. Make sure it's low.

I had a problem where windows was pushing my CPU to 25% during idle and messed up all my temps. After I did a windows update and disable future auto updates, it solved the problem and it's now idling normal around 5%.

Just to see at least it's idling LOW.

I was using Coretemp for a while, before I realised that the readings of 0'C idle and 25'C under load it was giving me were almost certainly wrong. :/
Either my CPU isn't very well supported by some programs or the sensors have gone completely whack.
