What's up guys?
I made a thread last week about my PC build, but since everything changed I decided to o start a new one.
I'm from Brazil and the things here are expensive, so I am going to buy some of the parts on the US (microcenter). These are the stuff:
Motherboard: MSI Z170 Krait Gaming 3X
CPU: i5 6600K (I will oc it in the future)
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO
GPU: Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 480 8GB
RAM: Crucial 2x16GB DDR4
Not everything I can buy there, so these are the stuff that I will buy here:
Case: Xigmatek Shockwave
HD: 1TB Seagate (7200 rpm; 64 mb cache)
PSU: Akasa Viper Power 600w
I was going to get a CX600, but some people didn't recommend it because the CX is the entry line of Corsair, so it isn't that good. The guy that I'm buying those stuff recommend the Akasa PSU, since it's cheapper than EVGA and has a 80+ bronze certification. I don't know Akasa for their PSU, but I know they make decent coolers, so would it be a good choice to take this PSU (the price difference between the 500w and 600w is less than 10$)?

There is 2 CX series. the old CX with the Green and black colors is the one to avoid. https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.M6af9f9db5f582ed3a61e4221a49fa93eo0%26pid%3D15.1&f=1

the newly reworked CX series in the Black and Grey color scheme is a good unit. https://images10.newegg.com/ProductImage/17-139-147-10.jpg
Verify which CX series you will be getting and go from there.
I have not heard of Akasa but money spent on a good PSU is not wasted. a low Quality PSU can kill your shiny new PC, whereas a good PSU will kill itself first.

We only have the black and green ones here. But the thing is, I really wanna know if the Akasa one is good, because if it is I would be saving a lot of money. I really tried to find reviews about it, but I only found reviews on other Akasa lines, not the Viper Power itself.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. As I said earlier, things are.expensive here on Brazil, this Corsair line you guys mentioned is above 500 reais (about 150$), and I can only spend 300 reais (less than 100$). On this price we have: EVGA (80+ bronze 600w), XFX (80+ bronze 600w) and Zalman (80+ gold 550w).
