My friend gave me his My Passport Ultra to copy some media for him, but to my disappointment i found that the drive was not discovered. Initially, when i plugged it in, the drive was nowhere to be found (i checked file explorer, refreshed countless times). After a few attempts, my computer finally had some sort of reaction, i was presented with a "WD Unlocker" in the form of a virtual disk. After running the autorun and the program started and i was given a message saying something along the lines of "your drive is unlocked" i then closed the program and opened File Explorer. For reasons i cannot understand, the drive still wasn't visible, all i see is the "WD Unlocker" virtual disk. i can view the drive in computer management and the safely remove command but thats about it. The actual drive is nowhere to be found. i have searched on the internet for solutions to this problem but i have not come across anything useful. Please help.
