MSI GTX 1070 Armor OC Vanished.....

Does anyone know why the MSI GTX 1070 Armor and Armor OC have just vanished from online and physical stores? Did MSI discontinue this version do to some defect? It just seems so weird that its vanished with next to no trace.

It's probably because they have several other GTX 1070's that are so similar and decided to consolidate.

I could get behind that idea if the GTX 1080 Armor edition vanished to, yet it still stands. I just find this suspicious. Makes me wonder if something might secretly be wrong with my 1070 armor OC.

Yea, but the weirdest part, there isn't even a listing for the Armor or Armor OC on newegg. Usually it will at least hold a web page with "Out of Stock" where the buy option would be.

They were on newegg for 2 months , then vanished.

That's what makes it seem and feel so weird. I doubt it would be a production issue give the Armor uses the same PCB as Gaming X and Z.

If there is a problem with them, I've not seen it. Mine works great from everything I've seen.

Yes, i'm just hoping it remains that way and nothing comes up and MSI tries to just sweep it under the rug so to speak because i've heard that MSI doesn't always do the best business practices or sometimes mistreats it's customers.

I've seen it happen in the past with various AMD and Nvidia models , I doubt there's any major issues.
