Performance much slower with new graphics card

Hello,

I decided to freshen up my old Dell Inspiron 620 so I can run triple monitors. It is primarily used for stock trading. I only run trading software on it, a few charts, word, and excel. I really just wanted to setup triple monitors as reliable and cheap as possible for now while I do more research and build a good trading rig.

Current specs:
i5 2320
Windows 7
8gb RAM
EVGA 750ti
EVGA Supernova 650W
3x monitors connected with Displayport MST

Now the problem is I've noticed mouse lag (I move it across the screen and it jumps to where I stopped rather than flowing with my movement, or it is very slow at selecting/dragging objects) and keyboard lag (keystrokes aren't registering).

I used speedfan and monitored the temps closely when I'm using all the software, Core temps rarely rise to 40c, and are usually around 25-35c. GPU temps stay around 35c.

What I've noticed is that running dual monitors with the onboard graphics card has absolutely no issue at all and runs flawlessly. Switch to the 750ti with dual monitors and it does the same lagging with decreased performance, never mind with all 3 monitors connected.

Solution
750ti is a very very... weak card.

Also did you plug your displays into the graphic card ports itself or did you plug it into the motherboard.

Cause.. you're suppose to plug it in the 750ti.

Really? I went with the 750ti thinking that it would suffice for my purposes. A bunch of charts open, usually an excel and/or word document open on the side, and that's pretty much it.

If you're doing that then the graphic card is overkill. It's not even used (hence why its at 40C). This look like a CPU/Ram issue.
