Can i put a prebuilt pc into a custom case?

I have an old dell optiplex 380, I want to upgrade it a bit and put it into a new case (Fractal Design Core 1000). I already have the rest of the new parts figured out I just need to know if I can put the optiplexes current parts into the case.

There is nothing really worth upgrading in that Dell, the money you spend on parts would be better used on just a new system. I guess if you get a good quad core CPU in there, good power supply, better video card, it would be an OK system, but then you may as well just sell the thing for $60 and use that towards a modern CPU.
